Legal. Need I Say More.

We have had a good time poking fun today at being a stoner and we are not done yet. This is why I am taking the time to write this. Maybe I am wrong here but, I feel that Marijuana should be legal in the United States. I am going to say my first reason is because IT IS NOT MAN MADE!!! Anything that man makes should be illegal. I have seen all the ads on television promoting that it is bad. It will hurt you. The usual spiel trying to get us not to do it. Did you know 25 million Americans have smoked in the last year and 100 million have at least tried it once. Here is a Statistic, it would take over 800 joints smoked in a row to kill a person. However, it wouldn't be from marijuana. It would be from carbon monoxide poisoning. However, the CDC reports that approximately 79,000 deaths a year are caused from something that is being sold over the counter at this very moment. Can you guess what that is? If you said Alcohol, you win the big prize.

It would be much easier to grow than tobacco, which kills people every year due to the harmful chemicals the company puts into their cigarettes. We need to make it legal. We can put the same sanctions on it as smoking or as on alcohol. Keep it in the herbal state. We would then have new farms popping up across the country and adding a few jobs which this country really needs. It could almost become the drug that gives back.

I know another argument from people is the fact that it would impair your vision or your driving skills. I made this as a joke earlier, but it's almost the truth too. Tell me one pot smoker that actually wants to leave his house after smoking. Most of the people I know that smoke, would rather sit around and watch Super Troopers all day. However, we can sell liquor to people through drive thrus, and no one bats an eyelash. There is just something wrong with that.

I am going to openly admit on this site that I have smoked, and most likely will again. It has not changed who I am at all. The health issue I am dealing with, it helps with the headaches. The pain I am dealing with on a daily basis. I am going to say that a generation will come along that changes this. Until then, Who is up for Amsterdam?
